      Hi folks,

I just wanted start using traffic shaping on my new PfSense system. Now I have the problem that I can't see the LAN-Interface in it. I just see WAN, OPT1 and OPT2. If I try using the wizard Multiple WAN/LAN with 3 LAN interfaces it tells me I have less interfaces than number of connections.

Any idea how to fix this?

      Thanks,
      Ch3p

Is it possible that your LAN NIC is unsupported?  I know that if ALTQ doesn't support your NIC, you can't shape on it.

I think that's not the case. WAN NIC is the same. It's an ALIX Board. Also OPT1 and OPT2 are VLAN Tagged interfaces on the LAN NIC.

Ah OK.  Nevermind, it's not your NIC, or at least not for that reason.
