      Hi,
      I upgraded to 2.2.4 RELEASE (built on Sat Jul 25 19:57:37 CDT 2015 ) a few weeks ago and just noticed today that my dynamic DNS entries for namecheap.com are not updating after trying to add a new record.

      I've recreated all the unique password keys for all my domains on namecheap.com and it's still dead, Jim.

      Forcing any entry gives an error in the log…

      Sep 30 11:44:40	php-fpm[24295]: /services_dyndns_edit.php: DynDns: updatedns() starting
      Sep 30 11:44:40	php-fpm[24295]: /services_dyndns_edit.php: DynDns (www.mydomainname.com): 76.183.69.110 extracted from local system.
      Sep 30 11:44:40	php-fpm[24295]: /services_dyndns_edit.php: DynDNS (www.mydomainname.com): running get_failover_interface for wan. found xn0
      Sep 30 11:44:40	php-fpm[24295]: /services_dyndns_edit.php: DynDNS (www.mydomainname.com): DynDns _update() starting.
      Sep 30 11:44:40	php-fpm[24295]: /services_dyndns_edit.php: Namecheap (www.mydomainname.com): DNS update() starting.
      Sep 30 11:44:40	php-fpm[24295]: /services_dyndns_edit.php: DynDNS (www.mydomainname.com): DynDns _checkStatus() starting.
      Sep 30 11:44:40	php-fpm[24295]: /services_dyndns_edit.php: DynDNS (www.mydomainname.com): Current Service: namecheap
      Sep 30 11:44:40	php-fpm[24295]: /services_dyndns_edit.php: phpDynDNS: PAYLOAD:
      Sep 30 11:44:40	php-fpm[24295]: /services_dyndns_edit.php: phpDynDNS: (Unknown Response)

      I've removed the /conf/dyndns_wannamecheap*.cache files and all entries on the setup page show "N/A" (naturally, since I've deleted the cached WAN IP files).

      I'm checking with namecheap.com also to see if they made any changes to their dynamic system with the recent web page face lift.

      Any ideas? A new bug? An old bug?

      Thanks in advance.
      Daniel

      [Update: the cache files were eventually recreated with 0.0.0.0 IP in them and that IP also shows as the cached IP on the Dyn DNS page.]

        And just like that it is working today. I asked namecheap.com support for help but they have not given any indication that they found or fixed any problem.

          Well.
          Actually, I think they did.
          Look closely at the second part of their domain name (not the tld). This will give you a hint.

          No "help me" PM's please. Use the forum, the community will thank you.
          Edit : and where are the logs ??

            I received a follow up reply from them.

            Thank you for getting back to us.

            We are happy to hear that has been self-resolved. We would like to let you know that we had specific issues with Dynamic DNS after the release of new account panel. However it seems to be working the time being. We are still fixing and organizing the things in order to avoid such issues in future.

            If you experience any issues after it works please contact us back and we will gladly assist you.

            In the meantime, should you have any queries, please do not hesitate to contact us.

            So there we have it. I'm glad it wasn't anything with pfSense at all.

            Thanks
