      Hi there,

Im quite new in this forum, but have been using PFsense for a while now, we are now building two servers on 2 ESXi for production (around 800,000 concurrent connections) with CARP, dual WAN, 5 to 8 VPN's, DHCP, snort, etc. Asus server with Intel quadcore 3.1ghz and 4gb mem.

I would like to ask for recommendations for a good NIC to be able handle this, I was thinking this one below, what do you guys suggest ? any other hardware suggestion will be welcome :)

      Thanks a lot ;)

Depends on what you are plugging into.

The i350-T4 is a good Nic

Alternatively you could just get a dual port for your wan and a 10gig Nic (secondhand Mellanox or Chelsio for under $50USD) so long as you have a switch with sfp+ 10gig ports
