On my pfsense unit i have a number of network segments.

      1. WAN to internet. 207.164.132.xxx
      2. LAN segment  192.168.1.x
      3. DMZ segment 10.10.10.x
      4. PBX segment 192.168.2.xxx

the problem is that i have the PBX segment just drops away.  In order to bring it back i have to go to the interface, click on save and apply ( in the gui) then th elink comes up and i can use it again.  Any ideas?

yeah, the system on that segment (PBX) has its own DHCP server, the person who set it up set it up with DHCP giving out addresses from 192.168.2.1-99, well of course the router interface is 192.168.2.1, so that was the failure.
