      Hello team,

Hope everyone is having a great day. Quick question…

Google Fiber is coming to my neighborhood really soon and I am upgrading my NAs and Pfsense hardware. I had a Supermicro with a C2550 quad core already in the cart (A1SAM-2550F-O) when I came across this little Mono, it's not only cheaper but I got spare RAM I took of my laptop recently (4GB) that would work great in there so saving me a lot of cash.

Now, question is would the J1900 + that mobo be enough to handel the 1Gbit connection?  (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813157614)

this is a home setup, nothing fancy, I'll be running HAProxy, Snort/IDS, VPN (2 clients at worst case, most of time just me), streaming Plex over the net to a couple of clients (bother and GF) and Owncloud sync (Including KeepassX).

any feedback from someone with a Gigabit connection and a Celeron J1900 (or equivalent) would be really appreciated.

      Thanks

If this board is matching and let you installing pfSense or run pfSense smoothly and liquid
I really don´t know, but here are three other versions solo or assembled together ready to
go that are really running pfSense for 1 GBit/s WAN connection with Snort & Squid & SquidGuard & ClamAV.

Jetway Board only ~$199 + Free Shipping in the US
Jetway with 4 Intel GB LAN Ports ~$299 + Free Shipping in the US
Jetway with 5 Intel GB LAN Ports ~$309 + Free Shipping in the US

The best is, that a ordinary PSU can be attached directly to the board with out any hassle that comes with
other boards! Your board seems to be similar but without slots for mSATA and WiFi or Modem and SIM slot!

And on top the 1 GBit/s WAN connection you will be need much power related to the throughput!!!!

Thank you for the feedback, I'm looking for something to put into a 1U or 2U case and into my server cabinet. I'm still curious if anyone have any experience with J1900 handeling 1G connection.
