I really like the layout of this board. 3 MiniPCIe Slots and a SIM slot.

Jetway sure is putting out some interesting boards.

I guess the POE is meant for phone systems?

That board will go in the Jetway JBC375F533 barebone:

Intel has EOL'ed the ICH8M controller hub, so Jetway is rolling out some new products to replace previous boards with ICH8M parts.

What about the Newegg box with 4 POE at 25W but only 10/100 ethernet. What are they focused towards? Not POE cams so maybe POS? 25W is too high for IP phones. 25W good for AP's but 10/100 is not…Weird offering. I would think even embedded industrial design would call for gigabit these days.

That case looks like it is 1.5" bigger in length and width than the board. I also don't see it for sale yet but the board is available on ebay from MITX for $280

Yes, very weird, for the added price a Netgear PoE Gbit switch would be a better solution, I suspect Jetway has some sort of OEM solution where this is useful.

I would wait for the JBC375F533 barebone, the special locking power connector (like Lanner uses) is a nice addition.

The fact that the J1900 doesn't offer AES-NI is also a kick for that kind of money…I do like that threaded power connector.
Ironic they use a longer case to add VGA!

I also like their PicoITX offering...

I bought a similar Adavntech product and it failed in a months time. Very unusual as their stuff is bulletproof.
              Usually obsolete before dead.

I hate UEFI as well but wonder if the pendulum has not swung to far with corebios. Minimal would be an understatement.

My experience with uefi so far has been zero benefit and flaky to death.

I really hate that my j1900 forgets how to boot correctly every time any new drive is added.  Even a usb thumbdrive.

I also like that my old-junk hardware is pre-9-11 terrorist hysteria.
