    am sorry if this questions seems too…., but i want to set a gateway of last resort on my pfsense router, and the /0 netmask seems to be missing in the add static route tab. pls help.

      set 0.0.0.0/1 and 128.0.0.0/1

      @http://openvpn.net/index.php/documentation/manuals/openvpn-20x-manpage.html:

      …........to override the default gateway by using 0.0.0.0/1 and 128.0.0.0/1 rather than 0.0.0.0/0. This has the benefit of overriding but not wiping out the original default gateway.

        That's what the system's default gateway is for. That's whatever is assigned as the gateway of your WAN interface.
