      Hi,
I have a problem with apcupsd (latest: 0.3.8 ), pfsense 2.2.5-RELEASE 64bit (but the problem was the same also with previous realease)
      UPS connected via ap9630 card
all configured with default parameters except:

      UPS CABLE: ether
      UPS TYPE: pcnet
      DEVICE: 192.168.1.8:user:password:3052

In the web interface of ap9630 card there is the ip address of lan interface of pfsense.

Few seconds after starting  apcupsd service in the status window all parameters of the ups are listed correctly (so seems that communication with apc card works) but…
in logs there is (repeated hundreds of times):

apcupsd[51894]: apcupsd FATAL ERROR in newups.c at line 103 Mutex lock failure. ERR=Resource deadlock avoided

Then the status window of apcupsd doesn't update any more neither if you click "execute" or type manually command "apcaccess -h 0.0.0.0:3551" from command line,
the service returns always the same data (with clock=the instant when service started).

Anyone in the same situation?… Suggestion?
      Luca

Same identical issue after update to new release 0.3.9
