    Hey guys.

What's the difference between "Proxy Server with mod_security" and "Apache with mod_security-dev"?
They both seems to point to the same documentation URL, with the same description, so they appear to be the same thing. Am I right?

I need to configure a VirtualHost to forward requests to an internal webserver but I do not know what to use. Currently I only have access to a production server, so I don't want to install these packages to test.

    Best regards,
    Diego

Well, the main difference is that the 2.4 version is badly broken, and the 2.2 version is badly outdated but at least could work. Frankly, I'd stick with haproxy.

@doktornotor. I really appreciate your answer.

I was planning to install Apache, because I was used to configure it on Linux. But I will follow your tip and try haproxy.
