How to setup Pfsense firewall and pfsense proxy separately in a single Network

I am confused that How to setup Pfsense firewall and pfsense proxy separately in a single Network. I have used Pfsense as Squid Proxy server, but my clients are asking to create a network like

Pfsense firewall in one machine and pfsense proxy server in another machine.

can you people please help me regarding to create this network ?

So they want the proxy and firewall on their own boxes?

Then you have to setup a box running PFSense and a box running Squid. I don't really see the problem to be honest?

If you don't understand how to setup squid then maybe they should hire a consultant in to set it up if finances permit?

It would, perhaps, be best if you specified what sort of help you need. As JBNixx says, setting up a separate proxy server and firewall isn't difficult. Is it the firewall part you don't understand or the proxy bit? There are plenty of links you'll find via Google - and this forum - that can tell you how to set up a PFS firewall, no problem. The same with Squid. Remember: Google is your friend.

Your much better off having a go and asking specific questions for things that don't work or you find difficult.

Asking how to setup PFSense is a much too open question to be able to answer.

But i would start with the official documentation for installing and the initial configuration.
