      Hi Guys.

      I would have put this down to OSX because there was issues in the past whereby a mac running osx would decide its name is already taken on the network and append a (1) at the end of the name, it could do this over and over appending new numbers.

      However I am seeing it on my apple TVs too. So one of them is now appended with (2) and another one is upto (4)

      Just wondered if anyone else here has experienced similar and found a fix?

        It does that.  Nothing to do with pfSense, I think.

          That is a well-known Apple sh*t related to Bonjour/Zeroconf/mDNS.
