      Hello,

Wondering if someone went through the same exercise.

I am looking to move from an embedded image to a full install.

Is there a hassle free (if such a term exist) way to transfer the config over? or do I need to do my configuration up from scratch?  In terms of interfaces, I will be moving from a 3-port to a 2-port system.

      Thanks in advance.

Do you have one machine "only" or do you have the chance to test/use the install on different hardware (virtual HW)?

Like what? Import the config and re-assign interfaces. Done.

The full install will be on a completely different machine. I dont have it completly setup yet but doing pre work. I guess I could give it a test once I have it built.

                That simple!
With the benefit of different HW just install the full version and import the config.
You may assign the new NICs to your config before importing or do so on the new HW. I find it a bit easier with a text editor before importing when you use VLANs on top of your hardware interfaces. Other than that it's straight forward.

Thank you guys.  Worked as mentioned above.
