No web browsing to Lan

  • Hello
    My wan 192.168.0.99 lan 192.168.1.1/24
    I can access skype from Lan but no webbrowsing  >:(

  • Get rid of that last green rule on WAN.  You don't want to allow all incoming.

    If you can do something but not others it may be a DNS issue.  Can you resolve any hostnames form one of your LAN clients?

    C:\Users\>nslookup google.com
    Server:  DD-WRT
    Address:  192.168.11.1

    Non-authoritative answer:
    Name:    google.com

  • @KOM:

    C:\Users\>nslookup google.com
    Server:  DD-WRT
    Address:  192.168.11.1
    ......

    DD-WRT ;)  :o

    This seems more logic:

    C:\Users\Reception-Left>nslookup google.com
    Serveur :   pfsense.xxxxx-hotel-fumel.net
    Address:  2001:470:1f13:5c0:2::1

    Réponse ne faisant pas autorité :
    Nom :    google.com
    Addresses:  2a00:1450:4003:808::200e
              216.58.210.174

  • Not a matter of logic.  I answered that question from home where I run DD-WRT as I can't afford real pfSense hardware and I don't have a spare PC laying around.  I realize it's kind of ironic that I sit here and answer pfSense questions all day but don't run a unit myself, sort of like a barefoot cobbler.
