i have a 100% cpu usage when my internet service gets a interruption so my pfsense need to get a new IP from my providers router/modem.
a lot of time it doesn't get back up. When i login via SSH and use option  16) Restart PHP-FPM

then i can login to the pfsense gui again and internet also works then.

But then check i check Top i get

      100.00% check_reload_status

and it keeps on that 100% forever until i restart the router.

i did search the forums and i can find some things but cant really find a solution to this and it seems to be there for a long time already.

built on Wed Nov 04 15:49:37 CST 2015

      CPU Type Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU J1900 @ 1.99GHz
Current: 1992 MHz, Max: 1993 MHz

if your connection goes down every 5 minutes, then there is something seriously wrong.

are you having conflicting subnets between wan & lan?
