since yesterday i got a strange problem

My pfsense box isnt getting any IP anymore from my modem. When i put a different router in between with a dhcp server it also does not give a ip out.

Before i had setup a static IP to pfsense with a max that ended at 9B but when i check now the mac address of the interface it shows 99 at the end. somehow the mac address changed.

i removed all static address to pfsense so it should get a IP from any other dhcp server infront of it but it wont get any. i already resetup the interfaces to re0 and re1. i also tried switching the cables put wan there lan was and lan into the old wan. and then change wan as re1 instead of re0 in pfsense but same problem.

Why the mac address changed i dont know but its a big problem i cant use the pfsense box now.

How are you checking the MAC address?

Did you perhaps enable MAC spoofing in the interface options?

Your ISP appears to only accept DHCP requests from verified MAC addresses, am I wrong?
