      Hi All,
I have in project to install a captive portal at school and i used pfsense to do it. I would like to offer different bandwith allocation to users according to usage. for example:

      • browsing on internet : bandwith 128 Kbps
      • washing videos on local pfsense server :  1 Mbps
      • ftp : 256 Kbps
      • and so on…
Is it possible to setup it on pfsense ? Can you help me to do ?

      Regards,

Long story short, freaking firewall rules that classify your traffic, like port matching, and use those rules to assign the traffic to queues. Then you shape those queues.

Here's an example of what you can do
