    Hi,

I install some weeks ago a pfSense box with a SSD inside, unfortunately I forget to enable the TRIM support.
Since the box is over 150km away I try some tweaks from the forum like "touch /root/TRIM_set", but tunefs -p / show that TRIM is not enable.

Only way I found on my test setup here is to boot in the Single Mode and enable it with "tunefs -t enable /" which work, but I can't do this on the remote pfsense.

Is there really no way to enable TRIM support remote?

Not currently, no. It requires console access.

I travel the 300 km to enable the TRIM support, sure I don't forget this the next time  8)
