      After updating 2.2.5 to 2.2.6 I get the following at the top right of my pfSense web page notified to me when I reboot my box:

      There were error(s) loading the rules: /tmp/rules.debug:45: errors in queue definition - The line in question reads [45]: queue qInternet on em1 bandwidth 30Mb hfsc ( ecn , linkshare 30Mb , upperlimit 30Mb ) { qACK, qP2P, qVoIP } ]

      The following are the items from /tmp/rules.debug that are involved:

      scrub on $WAN all    fragment reassemble
      scrub on $LAN all    fragment reassemble

      altq on  em0 hfsc bandwidth 5Mb queue {  qInternet  }
      queue qInternet on em0 bandwidth 5Mb hfsc (  ecn  , linkshare 5Mb  , upperlimit 5Mb  )  {  qACK,  qDefault,  qP2P,  qVoIP  }
      queue qACK on em0 bandwidth 15.046% hfsc (  ecn  , linkshare 15.046%  )
      queue qDefault on em0 bandwidth 7.523% hfsc (  ecn  , default  )
      queue qP2P on em0 bandwidth 3.7615% hfsc (  ecn  , linkshare 3.7615%  , upperlimit 3.7615%  )
      queue qVoIP on em0 bandwidth 32Kb hfsc (  ecn  ,  realtime 500Kb )

      altq on  em1 hfsc queue {  qLink,  qInternet  }
      queue qLink on em1 bandwidth 20% qlimit 500 hfsc (  ecn  , default  )
      queue qInternet on em1 bandwidth 30Mb hfsc (  ecn  , linkshare 30Mb  , upperlimit 30Mb  )  {  qACK,  qP2P,  qVoIP  }
      queue qACK on em1 bandwidth 16.98% hfsc (  ecn  , linkshare 16.98%  )
      queue qP2P on em1 bandwidth 4.245% hfsc (  ecn  , linkshare 4.245%  , upperlimit 4.245%  )
      queue qVoIP on em1 bandwidth 32Kb hfsc (  ecn  ,  realtime 500Kb )

      ***** queue qInternet on em1 …. bolded, above, is the line causing the notification.

      In 2.2.5 I used the Traffic Shaper Wizard to create the above.  When I got the errors in 2.2.6 I looked at the above and used "Remove" to get rid of the 2.2.5 definitions and completely re-did them in 2.2.6 using the Traffic Shaper Wizard.  The result is exactly the same, I get notified.  At this point I'm not sure whether bandwidth management is working, despite the notification, or if the notification is just bogus?

      Oh, if I remove my definitions with the Traffic Shaper I get NO notifications when I reboot the box.

      It is late for me and I need to go to bed ... I'll check to see if anyone has comments/insight tomorrow sometime.  Thanks in advance (and please don't flame me --- I'm still a noob, take it easy. <smile>)</smile>

        My guess is it's your realtime on VoIP. Your interface has a max of 5Mb, and your Internet queue has 5Mb, and your VoIP queue has 0.5Mb of real-time. Remember, realtime always takes from the interface directly. I think that means you have 5.5Mb of bandwidth assigned.

        You don't need to reboot for settings to take affect. Just apply your changes.

          After the Upgrade to 2.2.6 i have the same Problem, but this is strange because I never used the Traffic Shaper.

          There were error(s) loading the rules: /tmp/rules.debug:52: errors in queue definition - The line in question reads [52]:  queue qInternet on re2 bandwidth 150000Kb hfsc (  ecn  , linkshare 150000Kb  , upperlimit 150000Kb  )  {  qACK,  qP2P,  qVoIP  }
