      My PFSense: 2.2.4-RELEASE (amd64), built on Sat Jul 25 19:57:37 CDT 2015 - FreeBSD 10.1-RELEASE-p15

      I have three Interfaces:

      • eth0 (LAN) static IP: 10.2.1.250 (=PFSense Web Management Address)

      • eth1 (WAN) static IP: 10.1.9.11/24 with gateway: 10.1.9.1 = default gateway (This is a Telekom Router for Internet access)

      • eth2 (WAN) static IP: 10.1.9.12/24 with gateway: 10.1.9.2 (This is a second Telekom Router for Internet access)

If I setup PFSense like this, I will have Internet access with a device connected with eth0 (over the 10.1.9.1 gateway). PFSense tells me that gateway 10.1.9.1 is online (which is good!) but shows me 10.1.9.2 as offline (which is bad!). If I change eth2 Configuration Type from static to DHCP the gateway 10.1.9.2 will be shown as online. So it seems DHCP is working but static is not.

This is the eth2 DHCP info:

      IPv4 address 10.1.9.102
      Subnet mask IPv4 255.255.255.0
      Gateway IPv4 10.1.9.2

      What am I doing wrong?

IP conflict on eth2. Make sure no other device is using 10.1.9.12 on second telekom router. Try a different static IP address
