I use freeradius to authenticate my openvpn and wifi clients.

When I change a password of one of my radius users and click 'save' I get the following error in radius.log

Mon Jan 18 14:50:43 2016 : Info: Signalled to terminate
      Mon Jan 18 14:50:43 2016 : Info: Exiting normally.

Mon Jan 18 14:50:45 2016 : Error: Failed to load virtual server <default>M

Radius authentication is no longer possible and radius service stops and cannot be restarted.
I think the problem lies in the password. For example I changed a password from 12345678 to Z&S+9k"k3q the error occurs.
When i change the password back to a simple password "submarine" I can restart freeradius and it all works again.
I recently did an update to 2.2.6 but i don't think that's the issue.

What characters can I or can't I use for userpasswords in pfsense / freeRadius ?

      -or-

What must I do to use strong passwords in Pfsense/FreeRadius ?</default></default>
