Packages fail since update to 2.3
I have four packages that have failed since upgrading to 2.3. They all stop with the same exact error.
[4/11] Extracting perl5-5.20.3_8:
pkg: archive_read_extract(): Can't create '/usr/local/lib/perl5/5.20/AnyDBM_File.pm'
[4/11] Extracting perl5-5.20.3_8… done
[4/11] Deleting files for perl5-5.20.3_8: …....... done
Cleaning up cache... done.
Is this a known issue?
numerous packages haven't been checked.
that error indicates a permission issue or a full harddisk or whatever other reason it can't be extracted.
Permissions maybe. How do I resolve that? Full drive unlikely. My storage is over kill for my needs.
What packages specifically?
Name Category Version Actions
arping net 1.2.1_1
Cron sysutils 0.3.6_1
mailreport mail 2.4.1_2
openvpn-client-export security 1.3.6_1
Service_Watchdog sysutils 1.8.2_1
Packages may be added/managed here: System -> Packages
I dont understand step 2. The first command shows pages of files. Am I suppose to remove all of them?
Looks promising. Perl seemed to install. My first try was freeradius. I caught this:
[4/11] Extracting perl5-5.20.3_8: …....... done
: not found
makewhatis: not found
pkg: POST-INSTALL script failed
no perl is not installed correctly according to what you posted
Caught this one on squid install:
[10/13] Extracting squid-3.5.12: …......
pkg: cannot rename //usr/local/etc/squid/errors/zh-cn.v4WYVKFe20xr to //usr/local/etc/squid/errors/zh-cn: Is a directory
