SuperMicro Atom 2758 no up/down beep?

So I just setup a SuperMicro Atom 2758 and one thing I noticed was there was no up/down beep when PfSense finishes loading or when it's rebooting?
I actually enjoyed hearing what was going on.

Anyone know why this is?
The system does POST beep, but that's the only beep I hear.

No idea, but it seems like most of SuperMicro's boards have this issue. I have the C2558 board and only hear the POST beep… no up/down beeps from pfSense.

The topic has come up at least twice before, with no resolution.

The system does POST beep, but that's the only beep I hear.

It is surely something that can´t be changed by us users or customers, it must be perhaps
changed by the development crew or pfSense team. There was a command for setting up a ringing
tone and this was really running fine, so no one was knowing why the "beep tone" will not be appearing.

well darn. Wish I knew more about coding, I'd be tempted to investigate.
