I have a PIA account and I only use it for a few specific things to prevent my ISP from throttling the traffic, eg not general web browsing. I have seen some guides for setting up PIA as a VPN in pfSense but I am wondering what I can do once it is set up?

I would like to redirect all traffic to and from the WAN on a specific port/s from any LAN clients through the VPN. All other traffic would go through the WAN as normal.

      Is this possible?

Yes. Which traffic is directed to VPN is controlled by firewall rules in pfSense. In the rule setting you can select the source and destination address and ports you want to go over VPN and select the VPN gateway.

          Thanks for the reply!

I'm also running my own OpenVPN so that I can remote back into my network. I know that the PIA uses OpenVPN settings to VPN out. Can I have two OpenVPN configs running at the same time? One coming in with my self signed certs and one going out to PIA?

Yes. You may run multiple VPN servers as well as multiple clients at the same time.
