      Need help on configuring pfSense. I managed to bring up the WAN connection, but somehow the LAN unable to access internet.

      Original = ISP >>> Fibre BTU >>> Router (WAN - VLAN500 - PPPOE) >>> PC/Network

      Custom = ISP >>> Fibre BTU >>> pfSense (WAN - VLAN 500 - PPPOE) >>> PC/Network

      Where did i missed out? Rules or NAT or Gateway or Routing? I saw one post mentioning this, but i'm still newbie to this. The post as below.

        Check: https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Connectivity_Troubleshooting

        If you "show" (screenshots) how is your pfSense configured, other members will be able to help…..

            Do you have outbound NAT setup to allow LAN clients to go out PPP connection?

            See pic for example.

            In your case, the interface should be your PPP interface, NAT address is PPP address and source should be your LAN subnet.

              Hi All,
              sorry to bring this topic back.
              by following all the guide and some tinkering, i successfully have my client computer to ping port 8.8.8.8 or my local ISP DNS server.
              but browsing the internet is another story, i can open any page on client side.

              can some one assist me. i can provide the log if needed. just tell me who to get it.

              Thanks

                can pfsense resolve?  Under diag, try to resolve something - if pfsense can not resolve then anything using pfsense as dns is not going be able to go anywhere..
