    Boot failure from new live CD

      I'm trying to install PFsense 2.2.6 on a Toshiba M9 laptop.
      When I boot from the CD it hang at the following stage.
      Has anyone come across this problem?

        That's a pretty aged machine from what I can see. Do you have enough RAM to run it? And what version are you trying to install? The 32 or 64-bit?

          It's ok - I changed some things in the BIOS and it works ok now. Thanks!

          PS. To answer your question; 1GB RAM, 2.2.6, 32-bit version.

              Sorry to be uncool! Is it possible for a nerd/geek to be cool? Really?  :P

              Anyhow, I disabled serial ports in the bios. I also changed some other things but I think serial ports was the one. [The fact that I am not 100% is the reason I didn't post it.]
