      Hello,
      I`d really like to setup a failover mechanism between two PFsense VMs without running CARP.

      The problem is that I can't have spoofed MAC addresses. My cloud provider just blocks those packages.

      Can you think of a failover setup without having to send spoofed packages? I'm thinking of an approach which would work more like keepalived (http://keepalived.org/).

      Might this be possible with IP Aliases?
