I'm running PFSense 2.2.6 on 2 APU's with High Availability Sync.

      I have 14 interfaces using VLAN's
      21 CARP IP's
Captive Portal running on 1 Interface.
      3 Internet Connections
      NAT/Firewall rules (pretty generic)
      Gateway Groups for failover/load balancing
Traffic Shaper rules, created by the wizard
      Limiter Rules on 3 interfaces

The problem is every couple of days the router stops passing traffic on all interfaces and is inaccessible. no web interface, no ping and my external monitors record an downtime event. after a few minutes everything start working again, I login to the router and it has not rebooted just stops passing traffic. Looking thru the system log during the last 11 minute outage I only see this error reported, I get this error all the time so I don't think this is the issue.
      Feb 14 14:07:04 router1 dhcpleases: bad name in /var/dhcpd/var/db/dhcpd.leases

I have swapped the primary and backup APU to eliminate APU hardware as the source of the issue.

I just have no idea where to start on diagnosing this issue.

Just had an epiphany, the traffic stops look like they all happen just after the hour. within the first 5 minutes of the hour, must be a hourly cron job that is causing the problem?
