      Just wondering if anyone is using their firewalls idle time for these projects. I was thinking of having distributed.net running - does pfsense allow this? Would it be easy to do and a little difficult? Or not a good thing for a firewall to be doing.

        You can install whatever you want…. unsupported.
        --> You are on your own.

        But for gods sake dont do it.

        A firewall is a security critical system on which you just DONT install unneccessary software.
