Weird issue, but hoping for some guidance

Thanks in advance for any help provided.
Running PFSense 2.2.4 64bit. I have WAN, LAN and WIFI interfaces. LAN and WIFI each use DHCP from pfsense. The WIFI is connected to linksys EA6300 V1 in bridge mode.
So, here is the problem. For a while now, maybe even a year or so, I have an IP camera that is wired into a switch on the LAN interface. It will lose connection every couple days. It will not regain the connectivity on its own, it has to be powered off and restarted then it gets its IP and works for a few days. I originally thought the camera was beginning to fail and did not think anything more about it.
Now, for about the last 6 months or so, I am having an issue where wireless clients are having the same problem. Not all wireless clients but a handful of them will work fine for a day but will not connect the next day. They see the wireless network but cannot connect. While the particular clients are unable to connect, the other wireless clients have no problems and work just fine. One of the 3 clients that have issues has a static IP assigned to it from the DHCP server, the others are DHCP. To get these clients to reconnect I must power off and reboot the Linksys EA 6300. rebooting the clients does nothing. The linksys EA 6300 is in bridge mode with a static IP assigned in the DHCP server.
One other thing, while the wireless clients refuse to connect to the network through the EA6300, they can connect through a second access point I have outside without hesitation. If I try to connect to the EA6300 after connecting to the second AP, they will still not connect until the EA6300 is restarted.
I am stumped. I hope this makes sense, but I am not sure if the camera and the wireless host issues are related but they seem to similar to be strictly coincidental. I hate to start replacing cameras and AP's without verification but I am not sure what else to try at this point.
Thanks again for any help you can provide.

Sounds to me like an issue with the Linksys. Have you tried contacting anyone in support there?

If it works with 2nd AP, but not with the 1st AP without rebooting it - sure seems to point to that AP.. Why don't you just get a REAL ap this time vs using some soho wifi router as an AP.
-
Well, I was afraid of that. I had pretty much resigned myself to the fact that it is the linksys, but then I seen the similarities between the camera and the AP and began to wonder.
I am currently looking into an aironet AP, does anyone have a better suggestion for use at home?
Thanks again!

cisco are a bit pricy… Why not take a look at the unifi stuff.. the new gen AC models, the lite is like $89 and the Pro is $149
https://www.ubnt.com/unifi/unifi-ap-ac-lite/
The new gen AC models support band steering, ATF - DFS is not yet supported in the US.. But there are many enterprise level sort of features but for a home budget price.
I have an older v2 AC model, the new Lite and LR models in use.. And as soon as the pro's show back up in stock will be replacing the old v2 with new pro model. While it works and all.. They don't seem to be giving the band steering and ATF love to the older models.
I would be up for selling it for a good price ;) If you have any interest in that. If not it will prob just sit on my shelf as a spare..
