I'm noticing that my disk is starting to get full (read:105% usage), and from what I gather, its just easier to backup the firewall and reinstall it on a bigger disk, rather than trying to expand it.

My question is this: When I use the backup-feature on the Backup/restore menu, will this also backup any configuration done in the packages I've installed?

And will it save the certification information that I've entered?

Backup the config.xml file and a full system backup will be not the same as I see it right.

Do a system backup and a config backup and then do a fresh and full install of the pfSense
using the same version as you are using now!

Then restore the backup and config. backup to the new installation.
