    pfSense-Full-Update-1.2.1-TESTING-SNAPSHOT-20080706-2338.tgz

Doesnt appear to be completely there at 3.6 mb.

Is this how snapshots will appear as they are uploaded?

    Thanks!

I think you could have a problem here - The auto update feature downloads what ever http://snapshots.pfsense.org/FreeBSD7/RELENG_1_2/_updaters/latest.tgz currently is, so what if some one runs auto update while this file is its self being updated? there is no MD5 so how would the user know if the file is only half the size? just a though…

You shouldn't be using latest.tgz for console upgrades, use the full update snapshots.

cmb is correct.  latest.tgz is for auto upgrade system only.
