      Hi Support,

I have captive portal running in my pfsense. Is it possible to exempt some list of IP's from the captive portal, so they can connect directly to the internet. 1 WAN 1 LAN (captive portal running).

      TIA!!!

have you found a solution for this problem ? because i have this problem i can't exempt source or choose network i have the same as you 1 lan 1 wan
in the Lan the traffic coming from l3 switch and have 3 networks 172.16.0.0/16 and 192.168.1.0/24 192.168.2.0/24

i want to let 192.168.1.0/24 192.168.2.0/24 accessing without captive portal
and 172.16.0.1/16 accessing through the captive portal

i am working with no security now because of this problem . (fortigate have this option and sophos and cyberoam before only pfsense doesn't have this option)

              These :

are 3 IPs, my access points. These can access the Internet without being blocked by the portal while in the portal network.

My captive portal uses 192.168.2.0/24 - it's a dedicated network for my clients.

Special case ( ? ) discovered this week, I was shown a possible issue that if the 'french' (or another ?) language is used, the "Allowed IP Addresses" don't work.
Temporary solution : Use the default GUI language.

edit : in 2016, pfSEnse was completely different.
Issues form then (which wasn't an issue because it worked very well in 2016 ... that is, it does so since 2009 for me) don't make sense today.
That is, if you are not using pfSense 2.0.x

Edit : and where are the logs ??
