      --- english version ---

      Hello,

      I have a problem with the Huawei E3372 T-Mobile edition (Firmware version: 21.180.09.00.55). I'm living in Austria so I have GSM.
      pfSense version: 2.2.6
      the provider (drei.at) is not listed in the provider list --> could that be the problem?

      I have tried to config it with ppp (https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Configuring_3G_modems)
      and with NAT (https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=99705.0;all), but both do not work.

      I tried to config many settings in ppp, but it still doesn't work.

      I've found this and AndrewZ sayed that it should work:

      @AndrewZ:

      @skywalker:

      the latest CAT4 based model is built by Huawei and most probably identical to the E3372

      If it's running 21.X firmware you should be able to use it in PPP mode without problems.
      With 22.X (HiLink) firmware you will get an additional NAT (as the modem will behave like a router) and probably a higher speed comparing to PPP, this is not a standard setup but you will find a recent success story here.

      Thanks.

      Hallo,

      ich habe ein Problem mit dem Huawei E3372 in der T-Mobile Version (Firmware Version: 21.180.09.00.55). Da ich in Österreich lebe, habe ich GSM.
      pfSense Version: 2.2.6
      Der Provider (drei.at) ist nicht in der Providerliste gelistet --> Könnte dass das Problem sein?

      Ich habe versucht es per ppp zu konfigurieren (https://doc.pfsense.org/index.php/Configuring_3G_modems),
      sowie per NAT (https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=99705.0;all), aber beide Arten funktionieren nicht.

      Ich hab auch versucht bei ppp diverseste Einstellungen zu machen um es ins laufen zu bringen, aber auch dies war ein Fehlschlag.

      Ich habe dies gefunden und laut AndrewZ sollte ppp wenn nicht sogar beide Varianten funktionieren.

      Danke im voraus für eure Hilfe.
