      Hi,
I was wondering how to add a boot parameter to the kernel.
Such as "elevator=noop" for the I/O scheduler.
      Thanks.

Create a /boot/loader.conf.local file and add the parameters to it.
However, I assume "elevator" will not be a proper kernel parameter in FreeBSD.

Look at the man page for options: https://www.freebsd.org/cgi/man.cgi?loader

          Hi,
Yes indeed this is not the correct parameter. :-( I can't figure out which parameter to use. But this is a freebsd question.
Thanks a lot. At least I have the confirmation where this parameter should be added on a pfsense box.
          Cheers.
