      Hi Folks,

I am new to pfsense world and this is may first time to create a thread.

I recently purchased a new desktop to play with pfsense.  I found out that the motherboard's LAN has Realtek 8111H  which is not yet supported in 2.2.6 version of pfsense. I'm wondering if the new release just announce today with going to support the Realtek 8111H.

Thanks you all. Sorry for my bad English

I have an old laptop with a PCMCIA Realtek 8110, and I've not been able to get that working on pfsense 2.2.6, so I will be interested to see if you manage to get yours working on any version of pfsense.

            Hi All,

I just completed the installation today and I got a positive result. rtl 8111h now supported in pfsense 2.3

I think this resolves my issue.

It looks like rtl 8110 is supported in 2.2.6 release. I also checked at freeBSD site. I can't post the link because I'm using my mobile phone.

Anyway, you may want to do more troubleshooting to isolate the issue.

Thanks. I have been trying but I've run into a dead end at the moment. Hopefully someone will give me a lead in the thread that I have open. Glad that you got your issue solved.
