Beta 3: problem with serial console

I just installed Beta 3 (a new installation, no update, only reload configuration file).
I see the boot procedure booth on screen and on the serial console.
After "Trying to mount root from ufs:/dev/ad0s1a" the boot continues only on the console.
When appear "Bootup complete" on the serial console the option menu does't appear in the serial console, but appera on the monitor.MONITOR Console Boot ... ... ... ... "Trying to mount root..." "Trying to mount root..." ... ... "Bootup complete" Console Menu -
Please try to disable serial console at system>advanced, save and turn it on again, save. Then reboot. Does this fix the issue?

but still not running -
Would this affect me installing on a Nokia IP330 (putting the hd in another box to do the copy to HD install) then booting from the serial port to configure?
Seeing as the Nokia has no monitor port, would I be SOL with beta3 configuring it via console?

The nokia ip330 does vga to serial conversion. I have pfsense beta 3 installed on mine works just fine. You leave it setup the way it is for vga output and it will show on the console port.

I tried this on a IP330, it get's to the same point as the other poster said. I tried what you suggested. Still getting the same thing.
