      Hi!

      SItuation:
I have 2 GW`s, DHCP (selected as default) and PPPoE.
I have Default gateway switching CHECKED.

      Test:
Default GW is DHCP. I start a bunch of torrents, wait until DHCP GW is offline, pfSense switches to PPPoE gateway. So far so good.

I exit torrent client and DHCP gateway becomes online again. pfSense however does not always switch back to DHCP default GW.
So default GW remains PPPoE which is NOT OK.

      ANy idea?

Logs from the moment DHCP GW becomes available and dpinger shows it is warning packetloss (si it should be useable)

          Should I file a bug?
Can someone else confirm this behaviour?

So it always switches the default gateway from the DHCP WAN to the PPPoE WAN when the DHCP WAN fails, but when it recovers it doesn't switch it back?

Tried it with two static WANs, no problem there. Switches back to WAN1 as it should.

Funny thing is, that it works sometimes :)
I tried 5 times and it failed 2 times.
                  Next try 5 times 1 time only didn't switch…

There is something to that with PPP gateways. I'll look at it at some point past release. It's much better than it was in every version with apinger.

I tested this quite a bit with multiple PPPoE gateways and it was good there 100% of the time, though I don't think I tested it specifically with DHCP WAN1 + PPPoE WAN2.

You can try reversing my change in commit 2efb39d092a971c6ea8d06b25c315be7d400c4a1 to see if that helps.
