      Hello everyone,

We are in need to reconfigure our C2758 pfSense from scratch and the problem is that it is currently being used live at our remote site.  To shorten our downtime as much as possible, I was wondering if it was possible to create a config file from other pfSense device beforehand so all we need to do is run "restore all configuration".  The other pfsense device won't be a same hardware model number.  If there is a possibility of being bricked, we won't try it.

Will this be possible?  We will need to configure basic network setting along with OpenVPN, Failover Group, and Squidguard.

      Thanks!

Sure, just have to change the interface assignments if they differ between the source and target systems.
