      Hi,

      1WAN(pppoe), 1LAN

I just have upgraded my pfsense using cvs_sync.sh releng_1 and rebooted.

After the reboot, the WAN interface don't work.

      The GUI:

      WAN interface (xl2)
      Status up
      PPPoE down
      MAC address 00:01:03:...

      In/out packets 0/116 (0 bytes/4 KB)
      In/out errors 0/0
      Collisions 0

No ideas at all.  A LOT of people tested PPPoE and it worked fine for them.

Like I said before, a LOT of people tested BETA3 right before we released it and it worked fine for them.

Not sure why your situation is different.

Just tested PPPoE at our office line. No problem to authenticate and connect here with beta3.

I've installed a fresh Beta3 today with PPPoE connection.
                No problems noticed here also.

powercycle the modem and leave it powered off for a while to make sure.
