No coming back and complaining to the dev's if you haven't done your research!

        Thanks for posting these links.

I will make sure I read them thoroughly before migrating to 2.THREE

If any admins are watching - I would suggest adding this to cmb's Sticky "Upgrade Guide" https://forum.pfsense.org/index.php?topic=8640.0

I think it could be very useful having the pointers all in one place…..

It got pretty busy around here today and things got hard to find.

If your like me and here way too much then you probably know most of this stuff.  Im of the thought like some others that this should have been a 3.0 release due to the level of changes but then again this is not my project and I appreciate all the hard work that went into it and the hard decisions that come with that. Then again I think Firefox goes overboard with their version numbers.  :o

If your coming along for the first time to the 2.3 world then you need to read up so there are no surprises.  Its always been recommended around here to do your research and read the upgrade guide before proceeding.  Im badly ADHD and tend to jump into things myself but yet I did my research.

You have been warned and have no excuse!  ;D ;D

Besides- we would all rather these guys be making this product the best instead of hanging out here and kicking our a…........    ;)

I don't think the "no package maintainer, not converted" description is applicable to postfix forwarder.

Marcelloc has submitted changes for that package but I guess they were too late for 2.3
