    Not an show stopper, but I thought it should be mentioned, there seems to be a small display problem on the Auto Update page in the menus. Compare the following 2 shots:

    (Version: 1.2.1-TESTING-SNAPSHOT built on Sun Jul 13 23:18:23 EDT 2008 - updating…)

      Also still exists in version 1.2.1-TESTING-SNAPSHOT built on Wed Jul 16 02:31:27 EDT 2008.

        What error? I see nothing wrong here.

          I think he means the size of the menu-bar/title-bar.

          We do what we must, because we can.

            It does not specify a version, only a date.

              @GruensFroeschli:

              I think he means the size of the menu-bar/title-bar.

              Exactly…

              I don't know the version number exactly, I thought the build date from the system page would give enough info to figure it out. Anyway, it's been the same problem in every version of 1.2.1. Well, actually earlier, the whole "grayed" section was offset to the right, but that seems to be fixed. Now it's just the menu size.

              I know it's not a huge problem, but I thought eventually someone might want to fix it...

              Thanks for the great product nonetheless!!

              Update: Okay I think the last one I installed, which still has the "error" is this: 1.2.1-TESTING-SNAPSHOT-20080717-0408.

                I've noticed another cosmetic problem after you invoke the auto-update. See attached screenshot.

                The middle portion of the page seems to be pushed all the way to the right…

                    Hi,

                    Also a minor.  The tab name changes from "Auto Update" to "Auto Update Check".

                    Is this the correct behavior?

                    Regards,

                    Darren

                      @sullrich:

                      Fixed, thanks

                      Indeed, the second "issue" is fixed!! http://forum.pfsense.org/index.php/topic,10404.msg59078.html#msg59078

                      The cosmetic problem mentioned in the first post is still present, the menus are narrower, and smaller text…in all snapshots up until today's.

                        I use Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-GB; rv:1.9.0.1) Gecko/2008071719 Firefox/3.0.1.

                        Both issues still persist for me, the right shift appearing in the update to 1.2.1-TESTING-SNAPSHOT
                        built on Mon Jul 28 04:07:52 EDT 2008.

                        Edit: (related?): during download of update, Firefox hogs the cpu.

                          Fixed!!

                          I've been away or too busy to test incremental versions, but today I updated to I assume 1.2.1-RC1-20080804-1805 (I used Auto Update) and now the menu spacing/size seems to be fixed too!!

                          Excellent work!!  :D
