    What to do if we forgot to uninstall missing packages prior upgrading?

      Hi,

      any hints on what to do if we missed to uninstall packages no longer available for pfSense 2.3?

        In many cases the upgrade will still go fine. If you had a package that no longer exists, it will have been removed by the upgrade process. There is a chance that it might have left some files or other things behind (menu entries, service entries, etc) – If so, they may need to be cleaned up manually.

          Yeah I had the same issue with NTOP and bandwidthD - but I was able to clean it myself.. hope this helps.  the solution is editing the xml file..
