Monitoring request

would like the ability to reduce the automatic rounding of data that occurs so i could see 1 minute resolution out to 2 days which is helpful for short bursts of high packet loss ie cablemodem issues
-
Not arguing against, but 1min samples for 2 days is 2,880. I only have 1920 pixels. Going to need sub-pixel rendering even if the image was full screen width, which it isn't.

4K monitor should handle this without problem.

Oh I see. In that case, each user enabling this feature should receive a 4k monitor as a free gift!

maybe make it an option ie button that says enable increased resolution if you don't want it don't enable it
-
For now, if you want that level of resolution you will have to break up the time period.
Maybe some time in the future it will be easier to navigate across time, possibly even something like this:

but no promises on if and when.

i was under the impression that it got averaged out so you couldnt extract that detail just average
but will wait and play with time window in 2.3.1 as soon as snapshot has it -
You care correct, sometimes I forget I'm not dealing with raw data. Not having raw data makes me sad :(
The best resolution you can do for a 2 day period is 5 minutes, because the data starts being averaged out by that point. I'll push some more changes today, but the new custom range will default to the lowest resolution possible, so if you want you can play around with ranges and watch the the highest resolution possible lower as you get further in the past.
