I'm currently bidding on a voice alarm system for a stadium and need 10 switches with at least 8 Gbit copper and 2 SFP ports which are powered from +24V DC (battery) only. No PSU or converters allowed. To make matters worse, at least two of them have to provide PoE for call-stations etc. as well.
My trusted Katron KGS-1060-HP needs +48V DC if providing PoE.
And redundancy ring topologies have to be supported (preferably with recovery times <500ms).

Edit: even N-tron (they are nuclear power plant certified) doesn't have that. Nor Redlion.net

Anyone knows such a beast? Moxa or AlliedTelesis maybe?

There's a few out there but industrial Ethernet won't be cheap, moxa is a good choice, or the below for example. There's a few others but I don't have access to my list at the moment

Anyone knows how Cisco SG300-10s are powered? They have a wall wart PSU but I don't have one handy to look at the specs (or measure).
Might be the cheapest solution is to use 10 of those and add a PoE inserter where needed. I remember having seen one of those bricks without a mains input using another wall wart PSU instead.

Other than that, Industrial Ethernet is never cheap (doesn't have to be).
The netonix device is nice but I couldn't figure out if they support standard 802.3af/at or use passive PoE. And (R)STP and IEEE 802.1Q ?
Advantech is pretty much Moxa level, right?

Passive PoE, STP / RSTP / MSTP (MSTP available with firmware v2.0), VLAN dot1Q/QinQ/Port Trunking

Netonix and MikroTik will be able to have some of that you are searching as I can remember on it.
Try start your search there would be not a bad idea in my eyes.
