      I have to get the opportunity to turn off physical link on pfsense1 used CARP-claster.
      It turns so, that my provider is able to redirect the route to my standby pfsense only if the link doesn't work physicaly.
      The issue is that after I do ifconfig down the link still works.

        Strange they don't use a heartbeat. I'm not a "network" guy, but I've had some education a lifetime ago.
