I have installed pfsense 2.2.4 and configured it with four gateways and one interface for lan.
I have three VPN tunnels but I would like to monitor the two of them.
Is there any package, or any other solution that could alert me when these connections go down and when they come up again?

      Thanks in advance.

2.2.4???  Why not 2.3 or for that matter if you want 2.2 not 2.2.6??

As to monitoring..  I do not believe the built in notification alerts if tunnel down…  But any monitoring behind pfsense to check connectivity through the tunnel could alert you.. could be something as simple as smokeping, or prtg, or any of the hundreds of network monitoring software packages out there.

It is an old installation, but there is no time to upgrade. It will be done during summer.
