Any crash report on the dashboard?

You could try to remove the package at the command line, what does "pkg info" show?

Hi jimp, thanks for the answer.

No logs on de dashboard and freeradius entry does not appear in the pkg info command.

I know that a possible solution to this problem would be to install system from scratch, install freeradius2 and then restore settings. But if each time this issue happens and I have to reinstall the system from scratch, it's not feasible.

          pkg install -F pfSense-pkg-freeradius2

Informs the packages to be installed, but when I press "y" to continue, turn to the prompt.

          pkg install pfSense-pkg-freeradius2

Without -F starting the installation, but gets stuck in "Executing custom_php_install_command () …"

I tried uninstalling, but as I informed you up, does not appear in the list of installed packages.

Do you have any files in /usr/local/pkg/ from FreeRADIUS?

Normally a reinstall would bring it all back, but it sounds like it's getting gummed up somewhere in the process.

You could also remove the <package>tag for FreeRADIUS from your config.xml and then see if reinstalling it helps.</package>

              I could replicate this if

              • i install new pFsense,
              • Import settings with freeradius config.
              • after reboot packages are installer but never ends (presume freeradius "Executing custom_php_install_command()…" message). try unlock on package functions.
              • try reinstall freeradius appear message "Executing custom_php_install_command()..." message. never ends (hours on this message).

But it works. Trying repair this by deleting avery freeradius setting i found , could install well, apparently, configure it but doesn't work. Nothing i can report from logs apart invalid authentication or whatever. I have 2 distinct errors when a client try authenticate.

A new installation of pFsense before new installation of freeradius, configure it without config restore works without problems.

The same problem. Maybe a fix.
