CPU Fan Speed?

Just curious if there will ever be either an update or an addon that will allow a user to select the display fan RPM's for CPU and or chassis fans? I get that Pfsense was intended for system that didn't or don't require fans but depending on a users needs, fans may be necessary. Hence the need for display of this info and possibly control options for when the indicated fans fail.
