    The Traffic Totals package is available in 2.3.x. Go to System > Package Manager > Status_Traffic_Totals. Install that package and you'll have a new item added to your Status menu for Traffic Totals. You'll need to enable it under the Advanced settings and after 5 minutes, it'll start showing data.

    @pstuart:

    Found the solution to chrome issues.

    Login.lua has an error in it.

    Edit /usr/local/share/ntopng/scripts/lua/login.lua

    Remove the escape left of the "=" in the pattern so it matches as below:

    Hope that helps.

    Thank you Dear Sir
    You, in my books, are not an idiot!  Your answer is not only precise, but 100% spot-on.

    Confirmed it works for me!

    Watch out with those versions of pfsense and bandwithd, they doens´t like each other too much, i wanted to implemented and the pfsense used to crash. Doing research i found that was a common problem. I dont know if newest versions fix that

    Thanks for the suggestion, I will contact the mail list of ntop.

    That being said I find it funny that so much effort has been put to develop a package ccompliant with pfsense 2.3-X when nobody would want to use it in such a basic way…

    Am I missing something here?  I dont see the benefit of installing ntop if not to see the actual network state...

    Not sure why else it would be showing 0… maybe someone else?

    However I'll note that there's an overhaul to the traffic graph system coming in a future version, so there will be changes coming.

    I just wanted to chime in that the issue still exists (even though in your link to the bug they say that it was fixed in 1.2).

    I was having the same problem. My netflow receiver (PRTG) was consistently showing doubled values. I am running:
    pfSense 2.3.2
    softflow 1.2.1_2

    After editing the softflowd.xml like you suggest and restarting the service, it immediately fixed the bug. My traffic graph no longer shows doubled values.

    It is worth noting that I have softflow monitoring two interfaces: the physical WAN and the VPN. The VPN was reporting correct values. Only the physical WAN was showing doubled numbers. But the issue was affecting all three of my pfSense devices.

  • Is it possible to add the OUTPUT_SNMP field to PFSense netflow data?

    @antony@logicmonitor:

    Hi all,

    Is it possible to add the OUTPUT_SNMP field to PFSense netflow data output? If so, how?

    Without this field, various monitoring systems discard netflow data (although it is not a mandatory field by the netflow spec).

    Many thanks in advance.

    The other topic in which you posted actually has the solution - if you can get it to work please let us know :)
