Dynamic DNS partially working

Hi!

I have set up pfsense with dynamic dns using namecheap.
While IP is updated correctly with namecheap, the dynamic dns client is shown with a "failure" status as well as the cached IP always showing 0.0.0.0

Any advise??

As far as I know, Namecheap does not send the result note, pfSense is expecting for a successful update.

You can workaround this by configuring a custom client. If you know the respond for successful update you can enter it in the "Result Match" box, if not simply leave it blank.

@viragomann is correct. There is an issue with namecheap currently. Their record of the local IP is noted correctly in their system but they messed up their acknowledgement back to pfsense. More details here: https://forum.netgate.com/topic/142147/dynamic-dns-namecheap
